it is difficult to photo or even truly appreciate the wooden effigy of sir robert du bois, 1311, as for safety's sake he has been incarcerated in a glass hearse, somewhat like sleeping beauty in madame tussaud's, resulting in hopelessly arty reflections. at least the church was open, and the effigy can't be nicked.
