So it was believed... I searched on the subject out of curiosity, and found this:

So, I would not recommend it ;-)

But I have an old book about use of various plants, from the same year, where it was still recommended as used in very same way as dandelions. So, scientific knowledge does not spread so fast as common believes.

the first wild flower mostly

Those rocks weren't going to keep this wild flower from reaching the sun.:0

I should have taken an overall shot! They grow on the road side covered with few inch granite rocks. A gray stone desert where nothing else grows!
