Your print prompted me to do a little on line research in to gelatin printing, whereupon I found this little gem of information: "The plate may be stored in the refrigerator and reused for up to 2 weeks (or until it falls apart or you notice green fuzz, whichever comes first)." :-)

Thank you Jim. So it is indeed with the gelatin ;) I have developed a habit of putting the plate to melt in a mold into the (normal) oven after every print session, this helps to keep it very long. I also add some vinegar, clove oil to it. In the USA they also sell now a synthetic plate called gelli, that seems do the thing without the spoiling factor and all the fuss, though that lack of serendipity would take half of the of the fun, if you are like me. :)
