fyi - the dark marks on the piano keyboard are left over stickers from when our daughter was learning to play the piano oh so many years ago.

and this space does have guitars but i couldn't get an ange with them and the keyboard showing like i wanted.

It is time to clean those seldom used keys on the piano. My mother would have a heart attack.

ha ha. i have wanted to clean off the remnants of those long ago stickers for years, but my husband is a sentimentalist and won't let me! but believe me, all those keys are well used.

I can make out The Beatles and Elvis but no one else.

What a great idea for this challenge.

Elvis and Beatles are the big two, but there is also Miles Davis, Ali Akbar Khan, Eyelids, Bach, Matisse (art book), Fred Neil, plus more art books that one would have to really enlarge the photo to see, and maybe more musicians.

i play a bit of piano, guitar and flute, and sing all for myself. just enough to get myself in trouble. my husband is the real musician and composer poet and keeps or house filed with arty of all kinds. do you play, or sing?

This is a lovely room - obviously well used, comfortable and loved and with lots of stuff to explore!

I can also make out the Beatles and Elvis and a drawing of Shakespeare, but there are other albums and posters I can make out and I can't make the photo any bigger.

............and is that a real hi-fi set up? I stupidly sold or gave away all my vinyl records many years ago, and really regret it now.

it is indeed a well used space and a real hi-fi stereo! we are old school with included updates.

are you looking at the photo on a phone? on a computer you should be able to enlarge it.

I'm on a computer - I went to "Actions" and "see all sizes" but your permissions don't allow us to view it any larger.

i just found it - it is where i find it for your photos, at the bottom of the drop down list right under the EXIF line. it says 'see all sizes'

don't know why it is not showing up for you. i have the same permissions as you do for your 'Feeding Time' photo where i can see 'see all sizes'.

Maybe it depends on the size you upload?

so curious. i wonder if anyone else has this issue. i can see the 'see all sizes' action and it comes up as 1024 size, with smaller and larger options showing up to 'original size' (2560 x 1440).

Now that's a serious music room and obviously well used, perfect! I still have lots of vinyl but no record player (plus I have nearly everything and some more also on CD;-)

it's fun to use the record player now and again. we have most on CD as well, but there are many in our collection that have never made it to CD. record players have made quite the comeback recently - you could pick one up!

I don't see any ashtray, is it normal ?

no smokers in our house, so very normal.
