thanks - it surprised me as the sun was setting from the other direction! turns out it was diffused light from reflected sunshine from 50 ft away!

I've always been surprised at the sameness that can be found across continents, but not surprised that I find people who enjoy things that I do.

We don't have any of your blackbirds here - we have crows! No where near as pleasant, but at least they are fascinating.
