Stadttheater Bern – Kunst oder Kitsch; im Herzen der Stadt?
Der Handlauf, der eigentlich als 'Treppensteighilfe' dient, wird hier als Zaun zur Abgrenzung gegen die Kunst umfunktioniert. Oder ist es Kitsch?
Kitsch unterscheidet sich von Kunst, wenn das Werk keinen Interpretations-spielraum zulässt; so definiert es zusammengefasst der Kurator des MFK in Bern.

Nein nein, das ist nur wasserfestes Pappmaché, goldig gespritzt. Kommt sicher aus der Theaterwerkstatt. Vielleicht war der Fuss sogar schon mal als Bühnendeko verwendet worden. :-)

Kann da nicht so mitreden. Kenne das nur aus frühester Jugend vom Malen mit Zahlen.
Und im Bau wird vor dem Streichen alles abgeklebt, was keine Farbe abkriegen soll; ein Konzept, das ev. beim Nagellackieren übernommen werden könnte. Man muss ja immer branchenübergreifend denken. ;-))

Gibts da Differenzen? ;-))) Naja, "anmalen" klingt etwas despektierlich. Ich würde es eher "dekorieren" nennen. Wenn man sich die Schminksets z.T. so ansieht, kann ich mir vorstellen, dass einige Kunstmaler geradezu neidisch werden ob dem umfangreichen Sortiment. ;-))

raingirl, I don't know when you were last here, but Bern is already getting bigger on the periphery. In the meantime just under 140'000 inhabitants. Well, in comparison to American cities it is justpeanuts. ;-)
