These layouts are all impressive, but this is my favourite. I get the feeling a lot of handwork went into that, and it really paid off.

I know that I couldn't model in 2mm/1ft scale. It is far too tiny, yet there are even smaller scales now available on the ready-to-run market.
I have been past the location of the station building, shown here at the bottom of the photo., but hadn't realised how big the goods facilities had been. The Kemp Town branch closed to passenger services at the end of 1932. Goods facilities closed in 1971. The station building is now a Bingo hall I believe.
