World Wars' Memorial Bench suite bin - Newhaven - 30.10.2015

These benches and the associated waste bin are from a range of commemorative benches on offer from David Ogilvie & Co. of Kilmarnock. Their purchase and installation, on the Memorial Green, have been funded by Newhaven Town Council to commemorate the centenary of World War 1 and the 70th anniversary of the end of World War 2.
I was going to say that a commemorative waste bin must be an unusual item, but as it is in Ogilvie's catalogue, I assume there must be others around the country now.
