How is Flicka doing?

He had a rough 10 days Ron .. but now is settled and healed. he is doing well. We are taking it as it comes. The median time they give is 5 mths... we are hoping for more.. but making a good run at what we have.

I had long before all this , booked a trip to San Francisco Oct 10th - 19th . Its been 5 years in the making and 58 years in the longing. The flight isnt refundable and I have had to think really hard.

The proviso for still going is that Flicka is doing well. He will be here with Jay... its a hard call.. but if I have any doubts.. I will not go. If I dont ... it wont happen for at least 4 more years. Flicka comes first.

All the best to you and Flicka and I hope you are able to go.

Sounds like you've never been. It is my husband and my's magic place of meeting up before we were married and the place of our honeymoon. I bet you have a complete itinerary planned out, but if you want any input - just ask!

I am staying with friends right in SF... they are natives of SF ! I have planned this trip for 5 years(I plan with military precision !) I have also spent 58 of my 62 years wanting to go there.

Trust me.. its planned !!

My husband has been before.. but he is going to be here with Flicka.

My friends and I have planned this with care. I am a bridgophile and have wanted to walk the Red Lady since I was 5.

I will also see the Sequoia's and many other things.

I just need Flicka to be ok.
