Ironweed

Ironweed. I don't see this much here as it normally needs more dampness. That said.. I get occasional stems of it. I love the colour and this was catching shaded morning light.
Its a disaster year here. Literally.. no butterflies.... no bees.... nothing. Maybe they will still come
Artwork mine own

Pam J club has replied to Thérèse clubPam J club has replied to Edward BowthorpeI can see some bees in the garden ... because someone has some hives not far away from here. But something is definitely wrong this year with the birds. Usually I don't see them a lot as soon as the beautiful days are coming back. This year they are asking some food all the time ! ... and I am sure that it is because they don't find enough food around by themselves. That heat is killing vegetation ... and insects, of course (:o(((((.
Have a nice day, Pam.
Pam J club has replied to Christiane ♥.•*¨`*•✿Here we have over 100F... that is normal this time of year.... I feed the birds to they are here and the squirrels. But no butterflies or bees is very worrying.
Pam J club has replied to Jaap van 't Veen clubPam J club has replied to Heidiho clubI live very rurally. I an surrounded by 10,000 acres of wildlife managed land. Almost no agriculture so no pesticides really. This makes it even more worrying as it means the problems are much much wider spread.
