Its is Coral Honeysuckle Lonicera sempervirens 'Major Wheeler'

They all tell you it is Evergreen.. but here it loses its leaves in winter. It has pretty red berries in late Autumn.

Super shot! The plant, I accept as a lonicera but it looks very much also like fuchsia procumbens. The leaves are the giveaway though. Definitely a honeysuckle! Happy Easter!

... a nice shot, the red blossoms add a repetitive component ... and while faster shutter speeds are needed to "freeze" those supersonic wings, blurring them gives a feeling of motion ...

... they don't seem to like each other very much; Ronald Losure chided me for calling them "territorial", so maybe they are just little sociopaths ...

Oh Pam, this is just so beautiful! The flowers are lovely and that darling hummingbird...YES!! So CUTE! "Your squabbling fairies" indeed! LOLOL, I must laugh because that's such an apt description! Those little rascals love to dive bomb me if I get too close to their nesting tree! The tongue lashing they give me! It's so very RUDE! All I can do is giggle, the miniature pitbulls! :D How we love them. :)
