They will be ok Christiane. There is alot of cover here for them.. and it was about the same as the first clutch... also... the nest was very overcrowded.. better to fly and roost... safer.

Sorry I haven't been around, but I know you understand! I do want to tell you that things are getting better for the most part, and I just came in from visiting the raised bed garden...the corner devoted to "False Sunnies" is ablaze in lovely yellow flowers!! HOORAY!! The other day one of the stems actually broke off so I took it into the house. The flowers are continuing to bloom and are beautiful.

Thank you for the gift of the seeds, this blooming present has no price tag for its value to me and my warm thoughts of you. *big hugs*

Yayyyyyyyyyy !!! Now as well you will have a supply of Sunnie seeds !! And trust me.. they DO self seed !!! I an just so glad something made it !. I hacent got around to the iris's yet.. the humidity we normally dont have but now have... has been killing. Did a five hour mow on saturday...why dont I lose weight ??? !!

Hey, thanks for the big smile, Pam! :) You should see my army of Maximillian Sunflower plants! They are getting bigger and bigger! Fun times!! Two California Poppies bloomed in the past day, and a petite zinnia in pink opened today! The boom of my garden beginning to come into being is getting louder every day! SO MUCH IS GROWING!! :) The poppies...omg Pam...there are so many California types and the other types, it's just jaw dropping...we shall see!!!!!

Janet... SO glad things are growing at last. Wish I could say the same here ! The False Sunnies are the only real saving grace.

Poppies.. if I really really scout.. I can find... maybe ten 2" plants.... well thee is still time !
