Ladybird Pupa Collage

I have known Ladybirds all my life... but never seen a pupa till today !
The Ladybirds over Wintered in large quantities here in the "Little House" (sort of potting shed) and I suppose now.. this is their next generation !
I look around.. and they are everywhere.. a GOOD bug ! They have 4 instars to get to the finished product !

I have always known them to be good bugs... but this was a stage I have never seen !

But... least they are the good guys. I have Copperhead snakes and Black Widow spiders and scorpions.... I know which i like best !!
