A Happy Wednesday Wall to everyone. I hope your week has been good so far, and that the rest of it is even better. Cling to moments of joy in this uncertain world.
(I'm not 100% sure whether this picture qualifies for a "wall" group. Dear HWW Administrators, if you decide this is not wall-ish enough for the group, please feel free to remove it. I won’t feel offended, honestly.)

A Happy Bench Monday to all. I hope you have a grand start to the week and that it just gets better as it proceeds to next weekend.
This bench is beneath the massive Moreton Bay Fig which sits on Stingray Point in Mandurah. To the left is Mandjar Bay; to the right is the estuary leading to the Indian Ocean a kilometre away; ahead is the traffic bridge (the "new old bridge") leading from the foreshore on the left to Halls Head just across the river. Through the arches of the bridge is the vast Peel/Harvey Inlet, which is bigger than Sydney Harbour. The reversed sign by the bench is part of the Christmas/Summer decorations in this part of the city; it lights up in the evening.

May I wish a Happy Fence Friday to everyone. I hope your day and your weekend are spectacularly delightful.
This fence is preventing the VW Kombi from wreaking havoc on the foreshore and frightening the swans and their cygnets. (Actually, the Kombi is part of the Christmas decorations which are being erected by the Shire in Mandurah at the moment.)

I wish a fine and Happy Wednesday Wall to everyone. Have a great day and I hope the rest of the week brings you peace and contentment.
This wall is what the tourists don't see as they wander down to the water.

I've heard of posting early for Christmas, but this is a bit extreme even for Australians ... Taken this morning, 4th November!

A very Happy Fence Friday to all, and a happy All Saints' Day to those who believe in such things. I hope your day and your weekend are pleasant and calm. Look after you and yours and any others you meet.
I walk past this house two or three times a week and have photographed it many times but always been disappointed by the picture I've taken. I like this one, though, which shows that maybe perseverance pays off. The staining on the wall is from irrigation water from the bore which contains iron. We learn to live with it in this part of WA. Adds interest to the picture, I think.
Yippee!

A humpback calf enjoying life on its way back down south with its mum. The southern migration from the northern waters to the Southern Ocean has begun. This calf was born in the warmth of the Exmouth Gulf and Ningaloo in northern WA but will live in the cold waters of the south. It is probably less than four months old.
This was taken in Geographe Bay, off the south west coast of WA, which is a natural break point and resting area on the journey, being generally calm and sheltered. We saw plenty of whales this year, which is a very pleasing development.
I agree with the whale: life is grand, innit.

A very Happy Wednesday Wall to everyone. The coffee in this café certainly made me happy.
Have a great midweek and I hope the rest of it is fun and stress-free.
