While searching to find out what the monument to Bárður was, I saw a lot of photos of Snæfellsás. Most of the photographers seem to have decided that their views weren't impressive enough and oversaturated the colour. Your black-and-white version, is much more impressive, though. This is a lily that doesn't need to be gilded.
