Apparently, this man has been feeding the swans twice a day for many years and the swans all seem to love him, even the youngsters. It's lovely to watch how they interact with him.

His love of birds, but presumably also the twice-daily meal, allows him to forge a close bond with the swans. Very interesting and beautifully shown, Keith.

There's a lot of trust between the swans and Gordon. He must be a very contented individual to have this lifestyle.

Apparently, he's been feeding the swans for many years Amelia. It's quite amazing to watch how he interacts with them. I suspect he prefers them to people :-))

Few things are more satisfying than the interaction between humans and animals. I feel sorry for the seagull watching the scene...well, there's always a nearby dunghill to feed on.
By the way, the swans should know that feeding time is an hour earlier with the time change.

It's really fascinating to watch how he interacts with the swans Anton and apparently he's being doing it for years.

I hope they worked out the clock's changing, otherwise they'll have been waiting for breakfast for a white. :-))

Feeds them with appropriate food I presume, they know him because these birds can be very agressive !

I'm pretty sure that they get fed specialised swan pellets Isabel, at least that's what it looks like. I've also seen him feeding them garden peas and lettuce, which is also good for them. Definitely NO bread..!!

He's been feeding them for many years apparently and they all seem quite happy to interact with him, even the ones with cygnets.
