I love the contrasting colour you've used against the flower Keith. A flower that's as beautiful as its name :-) I like both pictures very much, with fabulous detail. They have just flowered outside my back door, maybe thanks to a kind bird, as a reward for feeding them :-))

Thanks Rosa............I'm very pleased you like these two shots. I've had these in the garden for ages, but the patch these came from is growing from holes in the damaged tarmac in part of out garden and I don't have the heart to pull them up. I'm going to leave them until I can grab some seed heads (which are also good for photos).

Wow Keith - I used to have lots of these in my previous garden. I also had some deep pink and also white ones. I just am fascinated by the PiP's - amazing close-ups.
