Black-headed Gull in Flight

Captured during a walk around Hilsea, near Portsmouth. Someone had thrown some bread in one of the ponds and this gull managed to get some before it ran out!

Despite gulls reputation they are handsome and elegant birds as this superb image proves Keith,
Details are captured perfectly especially the water splash and the head of the bird, (large view really is recommended) I also like the colours and the lovely reflections.,
