A Message from the Past

I spotted this "vintage" poster in an antique shop window.................I think the message is still just as important nowadays.:-)

This type of poster would have been issued by the Ministry of Health during WW2 - but I think this one is probably a (bad) copy :-)

Great find, But aren't handkerchiefs extinct? Over here these days you're supposed to cough into the crook of your arm. Making your shirt or coat a health hazard.

I think they're pretty much a thing of the past.............thank heavens, they were such unhygienic things. Coughing into your shirt of coat is just as grotty!

Just like Canada we are supposed to cough or sneeze into the crook of our arm......then we put our arm around our best friend to show them how much we love them!!
