Bluebell Woods (+PiP)

Bluebell Woods (+PiP)
The Bluebell season is upon us............we visited this location about 2 weeks ago and there were only a few flowers out. Yesterday we went back................and they're all out! It was a bit of a shame that the sun wasn't out as well and it rained shortly after taking these images. It was a wet walk back to the car :-))

I noticed a lot of bluebells on my Friday travels Keith. They look so beautiful, especially in the woods and forests, but lots along the roadside too. You have taken two gorgeous pictures and I love the tree in the PiP!

Have a good Bank Holiday weekend Keith, although Monday's weather doesn't sound too good!

That is superb. I have seen bluebells today but no light ( rain and 100% cloud) and a tiny area compared to this wonderful carpet.

A perfect carpet of bluebells. Our local woods have bluebells but there are too many trees. The canopy needs to be managed.

These woods are on a large privately owned estate which is criss-crossed with many footpaths and bridleway. They are very well managed. We're lucky to live just a short drive away.
