An Alternative Moon

An Alternative Moon
As I'm too lazy to go out in the dark to photograph the moon (and anyway there's too much light pollution where I live), I decided to make my own planet and photograph it from the comfort of my living room.

Gudrun, autofantasia, Jean Paul Capdeville, Alain P and 20 other people have particularly liked this photo

I see it's marble - beautiful. I assume you will be naming all those craters now before anyone else does :-)

An ingenious way to overcome laziness with an absolutely amazing result and a very academic and professional framing. I´m impressed. Best wishes, Anton.

A view of the world after the polar icecaps melt. Africa and South America seem largely to have disappeared, but Canada (top left), Europe, and Asia seem to have a fair bit of high ground above water.

Just as good or even better! It looks great as it emerges out of the dark.
I know about laziness and light pollution...it would be nice to have a second home somewhere on the coast and out of town;-)
