A "ball" of Garden Spider Spiderlings

A "ball" of Garden Spider Spiderlings
Taken in my garden. The "ball" is about the size of a £1 coin and each spiderling is around 2mm across.

Please view large, on black for best effect. If you want to be really adventurous use the "Actions" menu, then "See all sizes" and view the original size!

The next image shows what happens when you touch a "ball" and the spiderlings scatter.

Not nearly as bad as our French, Jean Paul!

It doesn't look as tasty as popcorn Jean Paul. The birds like to take them if they get a chance though.

Diane has a point...........my French is almost non-existent :-))

I get these in the garden nearly every year Diane...............I always go looking for them at this time of year. The only time they're a problem is if they're indoors :-))

Glad you like it.........and thanks for stopping by :-)

Jean Paul, it can also have that meaning for us, though it would be formal and old-fashioned. "Please regard this beautiful painting, sir."

There's lots about at the moment. Since I found this one i've found two others in the garden - this one was the easiest to get close to though!
