Egret in an Oak Tree

Egret in an Oak Tree
Taken on some waste land a short walk from my house! I managed to grab a quick shot of it before it spotted me a flew off. This is a large crop as I only had a 40-150mm zoom lens on the camera.

Best viewed large............if you feel like it :-)

Good catch Keith, Viewed large you can pick out the pupil of the Egrets eye so sure is focussed enough and not to degraded from the crop.

You did very well to get this shot Keith! I saw one on a recent walk, but was far too late to get a shot, and the lens was wrong. The Oak leaves also look really beautiful!
