A "ball" of Garden Spider Spiderlings

Taken in my garden. The "ball" is about the size of a £1 coin and each spiderling is around 2mm across.

Please view large, on black for best effect. If you want to be really adventurous use the "Actions" menu, then "See all sizes" and view the original size!

The next image shows what happens when you touch a "ball" and the spiderlings scatter.

There's lots about at the moment. Since I found this one i've found two others in the garden - this one was the easiest to get close to though!
