Mallow
Part of the hollyhock family. I sowed a packet of wildflower seeds in my garden two years ago. Nothing grew and I thought they had failed, but this year quite a few have come up. This one is now over 8ft tall..!!

Ich mag Malven so sehr. Leider sind letztes Jahr im heißen und trockenen Sommer fast alle Malven in meinem Garten abgestorben. Jetzt habe ich nur noch eine einzige.
Diese hier hat eine ganz tolle Farbe und ist riesig! Meine Malven werden nur 1 m hoch.

I love it, but it's looking a bit tatty at the moment. I'll cut it down when it finishes flowering and hope it comes back next year too. Glad you like it.
