Thanks for your comments! It's been a crazy and fun trip thus far...I've had to give up on trying to post regularly or even checking in but for occasionally. Life is good though, we're having a super time! And though the truck's transmission is going to cost a palatial sum ($6k us) to repair, the engine will then be purring like a kitten and the life should be another 750,000 miles on this truck. We were told by our extremely knowledgeable mechanic that our truck has things that wear out. It's just something you fix as you go and in the end, the value makes this truck a bargain in the long run. It should last us all the years we travel so it's not a biggie in my mind. Plus, we'll have the peace of mind for longer trips down the road!
Our mechanic had work lined up for his guys for the next couple of weeks but because we're on the road he's put us in front of other jobs and we'll be ready to go in about a week. Gosh, we'll have to stay here...at this gorgeous park...full of hiking and biking and picture ops everywhere...whatever shall we do? And the price is right as well, a mere $30/night. We really are very blessed from start to finish and we couldn't be happier!
BTW I didn't know you were a vegetarian! Way to go! I like non veggie stuff too much but certainly admire your lifestyle! :)
Must go, you're in my thoughts! *big hugs*
