Nelson's Column............ no not THAT one!!
This one (which stands on Portsdown Hill, Portsmouth), was built in 1807-08, funded by donations of 2 days pay from all those who served at the battle of Trafalgar in 1805 and from naval prize-money.
I hope everyone has a great Easter weekend. I have family coming to stay, so I may not be around much).
