This one (which stands on Portsdown Hill, Portsmouth), was built in 1807-08, funded by donations of 2 days pay from all those who served at the battle of Trafalgar in 1805 and from naval prize-money. No, not that one. The one on the top of Portsdown Hill, Portsmouth. The inscription reads: "Consecrated to the memory of Lord Viscount Nelson by the zealous attachment of all those who fought a TRAFALGAR to perpetuate his triumph and their regret"
