L'Amour Est Bleu

L'Amour Est Bleu
Sight and Sound

Love is blue and so are these pretty flowers I found at the beach.

Paul Mauriat from his " Le Grand Orchestre de Paul Mauriat – Volume 5" album released in 1967. (I remember this instrumental growing up and always loved it. To me it always sounded happy :)

It's so interesting now to read about this orchestra leader. I had no knowledge of him and that he was French just makes this all the more special to me now. About the song if you're interested: Wiki L'amour est bleu

4 links! Hopefully one will work for you and brighten your day! (such troubles with links lately.)

What attractive little flowers Karen. I looked to see if I could find out what they were but the only images I found were labelled wild blue flowers! They are a lovely shade of blue. Love this music. It is really mellow

Thank you. I couldn't identify them either, Carol. They are growing wild by the seaside. I'd love know what they are.

This is a superb photo and even more impressive on black. Magical colour. A beautiful and uplifting musical accompaniment. Thank you very much for posting to 'Sight and Sound', Karen.
p.s. all the links work for me :-))))

True blue flowers are rare. These are beautifully captured. Are these cornflowers?
