Wily

The peanuts are primarily for the crows who are avid fans of them, for the juncos, for whom we break them up, and in sufferance of blue jays — plus in usually vain hopes of grey jays dropping by.

But the squirrels know their way around, and wait for breaks between crows. They are wily little customers.
