We are on the SE side of the street and some neighbours on the other side had snowdrops in their front yard blooming already three or four days ago. But for us, with a front lawn less sunny and still largely covered in a snowbank. This was the first day for our snowdrops to show.

St Patrick's Day, today, is earlier than most years for us but it is no record.
