Further to the failure of my pumpkin

I still have not got this poor pumpkin to the compost pile. I started; I got it on the snow shovel a couple of weeks ago.

Perhaps all its good it already passed; perhaps not. I've been somewhat fascinated by its decline and have taken dozens of photographs. This was today in the rain.
