Outside the bathroom window

I get triple-worried when I see icicles hanging from the edges of the house. One thing is that they weigh down the gutters. But they also dam up the water flowing off the roof, making leaks more likely. And they also tell me heat is escaping through the roof.

Ack.

But they are pretty.
