My camera has a habit of slipping from the automatic setting on its shutter speed wheel to its fastest shutter speed, which happens to be a four-thousandth of a second.
Not much gets past the shutter at that shutter speed.
I thought I was taking a lovely picture down a hill into the foggy night. But my camera had gone all four-thousandths on me, and I never noticed until I got home.
