My teapot gets used a lot

In over sixty years of drinking tea -- always steeped in teapots --
this is my favourite pot. We've had it for fifteen years or so,
perhaps longer than that. Over the years its cover knob broke and I
epoxied it back together, and the handle pretty well disintegrated,
too. For ten years or more, I've been periodically tying the handle
together with various kinds of string. The string makes for good
insulation as well as holding the handle together.
