How bad are my eyes? I thought this was a yellow and pink flower until I looked close and noticed the pink was actually the wings of a couple Rosy Maple Moths. Upon further research, these are not Rosy Maples, but in fact are Primrose Moths!

This summer I've tried to section off the pasture into three areas to prevent overgrazing and allow for mowing to keep the weeds down. I have a long section of step in posts that I can pull up and move to block off areas for a few weeks at a time. It would have worked much better if the drought hadn't had such a devastating effect on the grass.
