Persistence Of Granny

Persistence Of Granny
For The Sunday Challenge group. The theme this week was to photograph items out of your prop box.

I chose things out of my model props box and the items I chose were my Grandmother Harrelson's old hat and gloves. There are two notes in the picture that show these props being used.

Larry He's So Fine, tiltdesign2011, Don Sutherland, Wierd Folkersma and 7 other people have particularly liked this photo

LOL! Well done! =D

EDIT: There is some strange Ipernity bug causing the images on notes not displayed fi the title of image, also used on alt text, is very long. I try to get this reported today.

EDIT: Workaround is to shorten those captions on the note before saving the note.

interesting composition with the 'real' props against the painting, the glove hanging on the twig is a nice touch

Thanks, everybody! I almost didn't get to post a shot this week. It's been a trying seven days. On Monday night/Tuesday morning, I was robbed. Then on Tuesday afternoon I was almost killed on the road by a semi. On Thursday my computer died. (I'm using my spare upstairs computer right now.) I had to be out of town for work all Friday and Saturday and didn't get home until after midnight on Sunday morning. So, I hurried and took my shot and posted it and got a little sleep, then because I had to be back out of town all day on Sunday, was gone and am just now getting to comment on everybody's pictures.

holy cow, and you made it! what a dedicated guy! I would have gone to a corner and curled up in a ball and cried.. getting robbed is just the worst feeling it's so horrible! I hope they catch the b@st@rds Kenny for your peace of mind!

Well, I hope the police catch them before I do. I've already asked the local police what should I do if a dead body "turns up" on my property.

Haven't you heard? That's what meat grinders are for.

I'm glad you survived the week Kenny. It sounds like a doozie! I like the way you put this together and I remember my grandma wearing a hat like that too.

Please stay safe!!

The glove hanging from the branch looks as if it'spart of the background painting. It's quite ghostly to me.
