Minolta MD Rokkor-X 50mm f/1.2
This is the classic lens I bought with my Minolta XD11 back in 1978. I love it's bokeh, thanks to the f/1.2 aperture. This lens has performed well for me for over 35 years.

My 50mm died in a fall at the Grand Canyon in 1987 and I replaced it with a 28mm.

That's too bad. I had the opportunity to shoot a 28mm a year ago as a part of the "One Rokkor Around The World" project. A Minolta 28mm lens started over by Boston and travelled all around the world, with each participant keeping it for 2 weeks and documenting their area by shooting with it. I liked that lens, it performed nicely.
