Staggered
Archive image from 2019,
On the skyline and just three of a much larger herd on the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Herbrides, I would liked to have some closer shots but had no time to change lens!
It may stand enlarging, ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,HFF and a good weekend.
Local Wall Art
A small section of sea front wall art at Weston Super Mare showing stones painted by local artist Kate Poole,
The stones on the left depict the at present dilapidated Birnbeck Pier and across the bottom the famous steam ship, m/s Balmoral which has sailed from Weston for many years.
More images of these lovely stones will follow in due course.
A large view is recommended, HWW!
Seats For Ewe
Unusual carved benches in a public park in Stornoway, Isle of Lewis.
I will be missing with the usual Monday morning appointments but will catch up later!
HBM and a nice week to all!
After the Evening Tide.
Bridgwater Bay at Burnham On Sea on a warm May evening, the late tide has receded leaving wet sand and water pools. while the lights from the countries shortest pier provide long shadows that illuminate the sea wall and battered fencing,
The Victorian style Pier, Built 1914 , 121 feet or 37 meters long.
HFF and a great weekend ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Large if you prefer!
Wall Clock
Quite a famous and one of England's oldest clocks on the wall of Wells Cathedral
It was fabricated around 1475 and the timepiece, with its jousting knights, chiming the bell every 15 minutes it is a popular attraction!............ HWW!
An image from 2020 as I am in the process of moving everything away from Microsoft!
Island Sunset
Steart Island sits in Bridgwater Bay with a small drilling rig out in the bay, captured from Burnham on Sea,
In 16.9 so the image is better when viewed large;
The North Sea.
This is the North of Scotland at Staxigoe Harbour on the Caithness east coast.
The name comes from the Norse "the inlet of the stack",
I now have the PC back up and running, but have as yet to get all my images loaded. So I continue to work from the recent archives.
HFF and a good weekend.,,,, ,,,,,,,,,,,,Large perhaps
From the past,
Having issues with Microsoft so-called updates, I now have the PC going, next job is to find and reload my images, but some progress has been made.
Therefore, another older image but not as old as the ladies attire would suggest, This is the end of the breakwater wall at Lyme Regis In the County of Dorset on a misty morning, I have no idea why they were dressed this way but it added something to the image!
HWW,,,,,,,,,,,,,, A large view may be rewarding
Dressed in a Hurry
