Ashton Windmill
This mill was built circa 1832 on the base of previous mills that worked on this site, it is 25 feet high and has sails 44 feet across, It is a four story mill and is grade two listed.
Situated on high ground on the Isle of Wedmore it was able to gather wind from most directions although primarily from across the Somerset levels.

Uig on the Isle of Skye, On a stormy September afternoon the Calmac Ferry M/V "Hebrides" loads ready to sail to the Outer Hebrides. She was built in Glasgow in 2000.
One of only four ferry services from the mainland to the entire Western Isles.

Bay at Sundown!
By the number of images I post from here many will have deduced this is close to home!
Yet another shot from Bridgwater Bay his time from the Esplanade at Burnham on Sea,
The island behind the lower lighthouse is Steep Holm, A protected bird habitat. With the landscape of South Wales on the Horizon.
In 16.9 therefor a larger view will be better!
Edge of the Levels
Close to the northern limits of the beautiful Somerset Levels at Greylake. The boundry is marked by the distant low Polden Ridge,
A large view is probably best,
Horse Island
Eglington Rd, Ardrossan overlooking Irvine Bay and thr Firth of Clyde,
The long low island center of image is Horse Island!,,, HBM!
Moist!
A typically damp day in Glencoe, and a view of the "Allt Coire nam Beitheach" watercourse as it tumbles down from the valley between the mountains. This is captured from the bridge over the River Coe at Achnambeithach,
The cloud covered mountains are "Stob Coire nam lochan (1115m) on the left and "Stob Coire nam Beith" (1107m) on the right,

Walls and Windows
South Ayrshire Council HQ.
County Buildings on Wellington Square in Ayr, which had been built in 1931 as the headquarters for the old Ayrshire County Council .

North Coast 500,
An image from 2011 showing a peaceful Ullapool as it used to be,
Places are rapidly changing mainly because of the impact of the extra visitors on the North Coast 500 road,
Pleased to say I have many images of the route before it's popularity changed it forever!
