In my suburb there were two public telephones here back in 2004. There has been only one for some years now. These days one can call any Australian number for free from a public phone. The remaining phone at this location can be called on +61 7 4635 5219 ;-) Another change since this photo is that the house across the road has been demolished and replaced with a preschool. June 2004.

The Yamaha MC2404 uncovered while finding and repairing a fault. The mixer assembly for channels 21-24 is removed so the solder joints can be inspected to identify a faulty joint. Several joints were resoldered and the fault didn't reoccur. This board was replaced with an Allen & Heath Qu-32 in mid 2022. June 2019

I was seeking information related to growing macadamia trees. This is one funny and surprising search result. The photo is of mandarins, as is the text below the photo. Yates, www.yates.com.au , is a well known and respected horticulture and gardening supply business which has been around way longer than me. The date and time in the photo title tells when I saw this. August 2022.

Bendigo had a few steam locos which appeared to be used for yard shunting occasionally. Here is one, a K class 2-8-0, photographed through the cyclone wire fence. January 1972.

I visited Bendigo partly because the trams were supposed to finish in 1972 but apparently they didn't. I travelled on both the lines, end to end. The interior of one of the trams ridden. I remember two types, one with 4 wheels and the other with eight wheels, my slides will tell me when I find them. January 1972.
