A tortoise found in a concreted part of East Creek, Toowoomba. The shell is approximately the size of an Australian 20c coin, ~30mm. I've no idea if it was a small breed or a young one of a larger breed, probably the latter. April 2022.

A 425gm tuna tin lamp. The wick is a piece of egg carton and the fuel is the unused oil. The photo was taken just after lighting as I was surprised that it actually worked. It burnt for 2 hours before the oil ran out. August 2022.
