Yup, looks like an example of the male gaze, but I don't know that men are more iikely than women to buy women's swimwear. I'm not saying they don't, just that I don't know if they do. If you know, please put me in the know. Ads for men's underwear are clearly aimed at women, so it's not impossible.
At least we're past the stage where these models would have been considered fat. I hope we are, anyway.
