Pink flags look cheerful, but what do they mean?

That's the CUPE (Canadian Union of Public Employees) flag, Sarah:

They're demonstrating against the provincial government. CUPE also has a French name (SCFP -- I'm sure you can figure out what that stands for) but I couldn't find a photo of a similar French flag.

Almost looks like very early spring flowers from the thumbnail - then to find out it's a labor movement. Oh, well.

And I can't remember what I was trying to upload when the system went down. Maybe it will come to me. If not, no great loss.

My memory is vague, too, Bob. I was surprised to find this when the site came back online. But now that I think of it....

I am affraid they are still there again but for other sins . . .
