Thanks, William. I hope you stay well, too. I feel lucky at my advanced age to be as healthy as I am.

Complex. The right three-fifths could be Christ of the Triangles - somewhat Dali-esque in tone, but then there's the left side, curves and more curves.I'm not at all sure what it says about spirituality, but it's a great picture.

Thank you very much, Bob. One thing the photo suggests is that St. Alphonsus RC Church in Toronto is a little liberal about church tradition. As I recall, this current substitution for a crucifix was preceded by one that resembled the statue of Rocky Balboa in Philadelphia.

Those look like replacement windows. Toronto Archives has a shot of the church in, I believe, 1911, but they've made it so hard to review photos online I couldn't find it for comparison.

Beautiful light and shadows. I especially like the blue tones in the windows.

Jesus! Christ of Triangles? Looks like a coat hanger to me. Either way, I feel wired ....

Thanks, Fred. I think this version of the corpus was preceded by one in which Jesus looked more like Rocky. Anyway, neither is traditional.

Great light and colour here to a scene that would not be out of place in my home town of Oldham In Lancashire England. I presume this is a church but it has echo's of our great cotton mills too.
Well done with this great p.o.v.

Keep safe. Herb

Thank you very much, Herb. I had a look at some photos of Oldham cotton mills and certainly see the resemblance, in both fabric and proportion. The brickwork there is probably more accomplished than the brickwork here. Toronto was pretty well thrown up in a hurry.

An interesting thought, Denis. That had to come from somewhere.
