City gardens? HFF John

Thanks, Xata. Yes, this is a community garden, as they're called in North America. The English call them allotments.

Love those little community gardens. A green oasis, just looking at it makes me breathe a little more easy.

This one is coming along famously, Sarah.

It's certainly a pleasant relief from the manicured park around it, Sarah.

This is a typical fence found at what we i would call an allotment (a plot of land rented by an individual for growing vegetables or flowers), put together from pretty much anything that's around (and free)! Love it.

Here and in the States allotments are usually called community gardens. Same thing, though.
