A beautiful beach scene John...........I like your perspective too! The beach huts are lovely and I'm guessing that's a lifeguard hut next to them. Good to see the people on the beach building sandcastles. I bet the sea was cold though!

Yes, this was on Flickr, Sarah. I'm not taking as many photos these days.

As for travel, I went to Melbourne recently. They rave on about the beach life there, but in fact it's nowhere near the water. However, it's near the Chippewa reserve and its cheap gas.
