A fascinating street image John. I really like all the different geometric shapes in the windows of the building in the background and I even like how the horizontal wires that divide up the trees.

The people in the foreground really make the shot special though..............I really want to know what they're all doing there! I'd hazard a guess that the chap in the bright green jacket is a tour guide.

Thanks, Bob. I don't know that I have all that many of them, but I can easily check, because I've been sorting through my street photos.

The chief obstacle to a book would be my lifelong aversion to anything that's too much like work.

Thanks, Keith. I'm pretty sure this is a tour. They go on year-round. I continue to be astonished at how many people visit here. I think Toronto is a nice place to live, but I wouldn't want to visit here. But they keep on coming. The city's proximity to Niagara Falls and Algonquin Park may help.

In 2010 I was at a research workshop in Newcastle Upon Tyne with a dozen or so other people from Austria, Finland, Hong Kong, Hungary, Sweden, the UK, and the US. They all had been to Toronto. My mind always boggles when I think about that.
