My father driving a horse-drawn sleigh (1940)

My father was a market gardener and bought his farm in 1938. For the first many years all transport relied on the horses and on rare occasions in winter the horse-drawn sleigh was in use.
I never saw it in action, but the sleigh is now part of the collection on the local museum.
I believe this picture to be taken by my mother, probably January 1940.
