Coatlicue ATC

Coatlicue ("serpent skirt") is a complex Aztec dark earth/moon/death goddess. It is written of the statue I drew the ATC from: "Here she is pictured as a cosmic process rather than as a female deity, that is, as the force that offers life but is maintained by death in a struggle of the opposites that is inevitable, even necessary."
I made this for the Nightmare & Fairy Tales swap-bot group--the swap for letter "C" creatures of mythology.
